After completing your paperwork, we can discuss insurance benefits, financials, or answer any questions you may have before your appointment. We’ll do our best to be as informative and efficient as possible.
During your appointment, you will meet with your dermatologist to discuss any concerns you may have or issues you’re experiencing. You may be transferred to another doctor within our group depending on your needs.
After your appointment, you can schedule a follow-up appointment and, if applicable, pay for any service rendered that day. We can provide specific information and expectations for more advanced procedures and services at this time.
Insured patients will wait for their insurance company to process their claim. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. Please direct any insurance and benefit questions to your insurance company as they will have an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) that will help you understand your financial responsibility.
We collect out-of-pocket estimates for all services the same day that service is rendered. That means it is possible we may under-collect or over-collect.
If we under-collected, we'll send a statement by mail. Patients can make payments online or by calling our office.
If we over-collected, we'll issue a refund to the card used during your visit or mail a check to the address on file.
